Dear All,
Got my ILR this June 2011 and planning to apply for Citizenship next year (July 2012). Can you please clarify the following.

Option 1. I have job offer from UK based company but will be posted in Netharland which I am planning to take-up (permanent job) and will pay my salary in UK bank account but have to visit Netherland for 2/3 months at a stretch and may have to live there till end of 2012 or may be longer. I will be making weekly/monthly visit to UK as my family will continue to live here. Will have all bills/bank account/address in the same address in UK and living for more than past 5.5 years. I am planning make the Citizenship applications in July 2012.

Option 2. I have another offer in UK but a contract one which will finish in April 2012 and may get extended but not sure. Worst case I will not be Job when I apply for Citizenship. I will be working thru my own registered company acting as director/sole employee.

Can you please let me know what is the implication if I take up option 1.

Also, please guide me if there are any implications when applying for Citizenship when I may not have a job - Option 2.

Regards
DebSen

Option 1 - No chance of getting citizenship in my opinion

Option 2- Very unlikely to fail. Even if you don't have a job for few months prior to the application, it does not matter
