BC Eligibility

Dear Members
I have been granted ILR in aug11 and eligible to apply for BC Aug 2012.i would like to know will it be a problem if i have work permit visa from middle east country as i am planing to apply for jobs and work in middle east from may 2012.
I have wife and kids who will stay here and apply for BC in aug 12 and we have a home owned by us paying monthly mortage.
