Questions regarding naturalization

Hi all

I am applying for naturalization next month using Form AN. I have a few questions and will be highly obliged if some one can help me with these.

1. Question 2.1: Date and place of first arrival in the United Kingdom (see page 7 of the Guide)? The page 7 of the guide says "Enter the day you first arrived with a view to staying in the UK on a long-term basis, and
the airport or seaport through which you then entered".
I entered Manchester, UK on a student visa in September 2004 and got a job in October 2005. I worked for this employer full time as my student visa was valid and got my work permit issued on 24th December 2005. After this work permit I traveled to Pakistan on 14th Jan 2006 and came back on 28th Jan 2006 (annual holidays). What date should I put in 2.1, I am confused?

2. Does the fee for naturalisation (836£) include both fee for handling and processing the application AND the citizenship ceremony fee? In other words what amount should I put on the payment slip?

3. Question 1.22: I have passed the knowledge of life in the UK test prior to my settlement (to qualify). I have checked the box on the form. Should I also enter my test number?

Many thanks

Hassnain

1-Put the earliest date if you haven't left the UK for other than holidays. (the latest date shows you've been here more than 5yrs + you have an ILR, so don't worry much about it).

2. 836£ include fee for handling, processing the application, and PUBLIC ceremony. If you want to have a private ceremony there is a separate fee.

3. You need to input the test number in the Form

I hope this helps, good luck with your journey to BC
