how long do I have to wait?

hi
i got my ILR long residency ( 10 years legal stay ) , and i undrestand that I need to wait for 1 year before I can apply for british citizenship.
I have friend who claims one of the lawyers submits applicaiotn to home office after 3 month of being on ILR and can get me british citizenship, I cant see any document online in regards to the 3 month law ... ( perhaps only applies to asylum seekers? or some sort of exception?)
any of you heard of this?
