Hello All,

I am planning to use the NCS service for submitting my application for Naturalisation.
From the local website of NCS service I understand that they will verify the documents and give the originals back.

Does anyone know if they return the passport of the applicant and if I will be able to travel during this period when my application is being considered for Naturalisation.

Yes. They will return your original passport and original life in UK test back to you.

When i submitted my application they did say to me to contact home office if i am planning to travel in next 5 working days. I think travelling after that period should be fine but you don't want to be away for longer period of time in case if they ask any further documentation which you have to supply in 3 weeks (just in case)

Thank you very much for your reply. I will have to travel within few weeks of submitting the application which I believe shouldn't be a problem as I will have my passport with me.

A big sense of relief that I will not end up without my passport and travel is essential for my work.
