Residency requirements for child born in UK

Hi there friends:
My daughter is now 2.5 yrs age. Parents got ILR after the child was born in UK. Child on ILR at the moment. If the child stays outside UK for more than 90 days does it matter for registration on MN1?
I note from ukba that parents should have spent less than 90 days outside UK in the last one yr, but unclear about rules for children. I note Form MN1 does have a section for 'absences from UK' for children as well!

Many thanks for this excellent forum helping thousands of people everyday!

There is no residency requirement for minors under 13.

Many thanks for the prompt reply. Not that I'm doubting your knowledge but could you please paste a link with reference to the above? Thanks again

Sorry I am a bit confused here. The section you have referred to is 3(1) while a child born in the UK should apply under section 1(3). Is the requiement same for both?

I am even more confused now. OP has said that the child was born in the UK. Does the child not fall under 1(3)???

He does fall under 1(3). I guess sushdmehta missed the UK born part.

You asked
is the requirement same for both?
And I answered your question:
