Have been in the country since June 07 as the spouse of a work permit holder. Indefinite leave to remain was granted in May 2010 for both of us. Undertstand that my husband is eligible for naturalisation, just wanted to know if I will be as well. I have read all the advice from UKBA website but still cannot understand. Could someone please let me know when I can apply? Many thanks

You will eligible in June 2012 assuming you meet the standard requirements.

Would I not be able to apply in february under the discretionary rule since I would only be a few months short?

Which discretionary rule are you referring to? I'm not familiar with such one.

The other option is to follow the suggestions outlined here but as you are just a few months away I would just wait to June.

We (me and my wife) got ILR (5 years on WP)last week. My wife came in uk in july 2007 ( 6 months later than me) and will complete 5 years in july 2012. We will complete 12 months on ILR in Jan 2013. Can we both apply in Feb 2013? or she will have to wait till july 2013?

Both can apply from Jan 2013 assuming you meet the standard requirements.
