Dear All
I have one query for my Daughters visa.
I am on Tier1 finishing 5 years in Jun .My daughter was born in UK and went to India with Indian passport without UK visa in it.

My question is,If i apply visiting visa for my daughter (Which is 7k where as Tier1 dependent is 70K) and come to UK and once I get my ILR then i am planning to apply Biritish passport for her.Is this possible.

Please advise

After you're granted ILR, see also british citizenship for children without ILR?

Thanks Vinny
After i get ILR also i cant apply British passport for my children in India. They have to be in UK to apply British passport.
So they have to be in this country and I am not sure about her status (Visiting visa) I can apply or I have to change to dependent before applying passport.

They are not British. You need to apply for them to register as British citizen (and pay the fee) for them to become British. Follow the link vinny posted to see what is needed.
They have to be in UK to apply British passport.
Wrong. They can apply for registration as British citizen from India and once they become British citizen, they can apply for a UK passport from India.

Hi jumbo
After i get my ILR also my daughter Cant register as British citizen from India (MN1).it has to be in country application only. But once main applicant became British citizen then children can apply for British citizen even they born out side UK.

My worry is they may not grant visiting visa because my intentions will be apply for British passport after main applicant get ILR.

is that true?

This statement is wrong. As I said in my previous post, registration (MN1) can be applied from India. It is not in country application.
