Married to a British Citizen Oct 2008 (in Relationship Since 1998)
issued a 3 years DLR in Nov 09
reached the 14 years in the UK August 2011 , Applied for ILR on 9th August 2011
ILR based on 14 years issued on 13 Oct 2011
Applied for British Citizenship on 21 Nov 2011 at NCS Nottingham
Citizenship approved and received on 17 Feb 2012 (dated 8th Feb 2012)


I am over the moon

Hi adel..can you tell us please when you applying ILR wos Under DLR OR 14 years route....am in Uk 14 years ago but Appling for ILR after 6 years discretionary leave marriage british citizen 16 weeks ago....still waiting

I have applieds under the 14 years rule, and I had a reply withing 10 weeks. hope that answers your question. when did you apply and under what category?

....thanks for your reply....I applid 19/01/2012 SET O under basis of marrige after 6 years discretionary leave bo you Know any one same as me the waititng time????
