Hi,
If an Indian(25+) is legally working(with work permit ,later transferred to tier-1 general migrant) in UK for 5 years:

Can he apply for citizenship in UK?

Or

Is he first should apply for ILR and then after 12months of obtaining ILR ,should go for citizenship?

Can some one answer my query?

He needs ILR first and then 12 months to be free of Immigration control before applying for BC
