Hello there...iv got ilr about a year ago holding Bangladesh passport right now. The passPort time expired on December. Have to renew it soon. Iv a. 4 mOnths baby. We are planning to apply for her British passport.
The question is can I send my expired passport with her application or iv to renew it first?

You need to provide evidence about your immigration status when your child was born. Expired passport showing ILR before the child birth is fine to use.

Yeas she was born in uk..on dec02 2011
