Hi,

We (me and my husband) have completed 6+ years in UK (1+ as ILR holder). I think I read the forums and sites, but just to make sure, I do not delay the application (and my leave that I will take to goto NSC), wanted to check with all you experts. Please correct me in below points if I am wrong or help me by answering my questions. Appreciate all your help.

1. Printed and filling Form AN
2. We will be applying through NSC so that we can travel outside UK (I know we need to be in UK when they receive the application, so took 4 weeks buffer between).
3. Is Tax office address same as office address?
4. Pre-paid envelope: I want them to send my documents back in those envelopes, should I collect all my docs, goto Post office and get that? How much we should insure it for.
5. I passed "Life in UK" test as part of settlement, so no need to send any documentation apart from checking relevant box.
6. As per my understanding apart from providing details (5 years address, 5 years UK absence details, Tax office and home office reference), I just have to send my passport (with ILR stamp), no other documents are required. Is this right? Are we supposed to send any more documents (like P60 or bank statements or address proof, or marriage certificate etc.).

Many thanks,
TMB

1) Yes

2) Ok

3) It is the HMRC office that handles your taxation. If you are an employee your HR department will be able to tell you which tax office deals with them

4) If you are using NCS then only photocopies are sent not any originals. Not sure what you are wanting returned using your prepaid envelopes?

5) Just bring the certificate again and the NCS will copy it

6) No need for bank statements etc
