Requesting Passport Back.

Hi,
I have applied for naturalisation in Feb 2012 through Postal Application, In Case of Emergency requesting Indian Passport back will be considered as cancellation of Naturalisation Process or Application is still valid as fees has been deducted from my Account.
What will be the effect on Naturalisation process, Can anyone please explain the process.
