I have applied for naturalisation on feb 15 through postal application. Fees debited on 27th Feb but till date didn't receive acknowledgement. Can any one please let me know whether this is some thing strange or bit common thing with naturalisation applications.

Also please let me know how to identify the reference number for further communication with HO in this regard.

My acknowledgement letter also took a long time, from Nov 26th to Jan 6th, although holidays were in the middle.

I would call them on the 1 month anniversary of the fees debit.
If I'm not wrong, the reference number will appear in the ack letter.
