ILR success at Liverpool PEO on 14/03/2013

Post by pulimiharish » Wed Mar 20, 2013 4:36 pm

I managed to get a PEO appointment for myself and 1 dependant (my wife) by luck I guess (may be some cancellation). I haven’t included my UK born son as we can apply for naturalization directly without ILR through Section 1(3).

HSMP visa start date: 01/04/2008
UK Arraival: 23/04/2008
Permanent job - May 2008 to May 2011
Contract job (Limited company director) - May 2001 till date
Total absenses outside the country: 111

On the day:
Anyone going to the Liverpool PEO office by walk don’t use the postcode in Google maps. We have started an hour earlier with the Google maps and ended in some industrial area, we had to run all the way back to the city centre and follow the road signs for the passport office. After going inside the passport office they have told that it is a different office so again running to the actual visa office. So in the end we just made it on the appointment time (9:00AM).

After entering the office we were immediately called by a PEO worker for initial docs verification, he was very helpful and checked all the documents within 5 minutes.
After 10 minutes paid the fees in another counter (I haven’t notified my bank (HSBC) for the payment but no problems though)
After 10 minutes the case worker called us and asked for all the required documents
Waiting for 15 minutes and then the case worker called again and asked us to go to the biometrics.
After 10 more minutes the CW called me and asked for profit/loss statement and I explained her that its just been 18 months since I started my company and I’ll be filing the year end accounts only in April 2013, she said okay.
Another 10 minutes and the CW called us and told us that our ILR is approved and handed over the documents and the approval letter.
The overall process took 1 hour 10 minutes and it was a pleasant experience with the Liverpool staff.
We received our BRP cards just after 2 working days. (Applied on 14th March Thursday and received the cards on 18th Monday)

List of documents supplied:
1. SET(O) application form
2. 2 Photographs
3. Life in UK pass certificates
4. 12 months payslips + dividend vouchers
5. Accountant letter
6. 12 months personal bank statements
7. 12 months business bank statements
8. Company related documents (Registration certificate + VAT registration letter) etc.

Any questions welcome

Congratulations. Good if you would have taken a letter from Accountant explaining about the Profit and Loss Account and Tax Return. Any way you have got your ILR by explaining to CW.

You are very lucky mate. I'm surprised you didnt pay any tax (as you haven't file your tax return) on your earned income.
I did the same i explained that i will be filing in october but that senior case worker didn't understand and they hold my case.
how did you explained to her ? :)
anyway congrats and enjoy ILR.
