Urgent Help - Which Form and how to apply ILR for dependent

Post by dks100 » Thu Jun 06, 2013 9:11 pm

Hi,

Recently I got my ILR few days back under T1(G), my dependent (Wife & Children) are living with me since beginning on T1(G) Visa. The Visa expire in Nov 2013. Now I am trying to get their ILR done but bit confused. It wood be really helpful if you can share your knowledge for my following query:
1) Is single Set (m) form will be appropriate for my wife and children under 18 ?

2) Is the PEO appointment can be booked in the same way of set (O) and each dependent to pay £100 like Set (O) or is there any different process.

3) Is Life in UK pass test certificate, documentary proof for co-habitant for last 2 year (she is in UK since 2006) and my last 3 months bank statement for maintenance fund is OK ?

Thanks
DKS

1) No. If you wife and children are PBS dependants and not FLR(M) holders, then they may apply for ILR using form SET(O).

Hi Vinay,

Thank you very much for your reply and correcting me, its a Major correction.

When they will apply through Set (O) and both the children included in the same form ?
What is to be mentioned under Immigration history and Tier 1 Point calculation, How can they fill up these section as they are dependent ?
What fee would be applied (Is it Main applicant + 2 dependent = £3752) ?.

In this case I believe the main applicant will be my wife and depends will be children. Then how will they relate mine status on the application form, looks bit confusing.

Thanks
DKS

Hi,

While filling up Set (O) form for PBS Dependent, I getting following confusions, I am sure there are many people in this forum who might have such situation in past and might have got ILR for PBS dependent separately, Appreciate if you can help me to complete the application and list of documents:

1) My understanding is the Set (O) form will to be filled up as if my wife is main applicant and children are dependent ?
2) Therefore, in Payment sheet her name to be appear
3) Page 7 - Applicant' s details - My wife 's detail
4) Page 8 - Section 2 - DEPENDANTS WHO ARE ALSO APPLYING
My children name but does she need to fill up section for partner (Your partner’s full name) ?
5) I do not find any other place where my Reference (main person with ILR) in the form, where will the reference for spouse to be put so that it will relate with spouse of ILR person ?
6) What is to be fill up in Tier 1 Point section and also for maintenance fund section.
7) Is it necessary to apply within 28 days of my ILR ? Her PBS dependent visa is valid till Nov, can this visa will be valid after 28 days ?

I am really very confused, your help appreciated.

I am planning to submit following document:

1) Life in UK pass certificate for my wife
2) Marriage certificate
3) Co-hab document since last 2 year
4) Joint Bank statement
5) She is working part time so her salary slip
6) My salary slip for the last 6 month and bank statement - Is it necessary to have recent salary slip and bank statement (Within 1 month) ?
7) My BRP and Photocopy (BRP yet to come)
8 ) My passport and photocopy
9) Two proof of address for my daughter as she is 17
10) Birth certificate for children

Can you please help

Thanks
