Premium ILR application gone on waiting

Post by tan777 » Wed Aug 21, 2013 8:57 pm

Dear all
I applied for ILR at Solihull PEO July end. My case is complicated due to 1 year of absence. They retained the application to check if discretion can be applied as I have cited some compassionate reasons. Do you know normally how long it takes to get a decision back? Almost a month and I am still waiting.

It'll more than likely be in a queue awaiting review by a senior caseworker. Try calling 0151 237 5510 and seeing if they'll give you an update or ask how you can get an update.

Thanks seems number does not work. Is there any other apart from Croydon dashboard?

Try 0151 213 4243 see if they can look it up or ask someone else to, say it is making you anxious and it was a PEO premium appointment.

Called that and got Solihull PEO number, but no one picks on option given. What an appalling experience.

Yes please. Any chance I at least get to know what is happening on a number.

It can take anywhere between a few weeks to a year.
So, wait patiently.

Can I apply for Tier 2 general while ILR is in progress. That is by asking passport and existing BRP card?

No, you cannot make more than one leave to remain application.

However, if the ILR application has not been decided you can vary your ILR application to a Tier 2 application.
