I came to UK in order to pursue my CIMA in the year 2010. Being a full time CIMA student at LSBF I have passed all my papers (first time) by May 2013 including the T4 Part B of the final exam. But CIMA has a condition that once I clear my strategic level exam I have 4 years left to complete the final exam –T4 which includes 3 years of working experience(A) and one final case study exam(B).
Now that I have completed all my exam part, I have the work experience left to complete.
I have been looking for jobs relevant to my criteria for the past 1 year and I am not able to find any suitable role here given the current sluggish market conditions being a part qualified management accountant.
I am married in the year Feb-2012 and my husband has an indefinite leave to remain.
After my wedding I have changed my visa from Student to Spouse (Settlement)I applied for the spouse visa in June 2013 (wherein I am still under the old rule).I am under the probationary period (2 years) which expires in Dec 2014.
Now I have an opportunity to be as an Intern with an MNC in India for 6 months (Dec 13 to June 14). This role matches with my needs to complete CIMA requirements for a minimum 6 month period out of 18 months.
Question:
Given my current position, Will I be eligible to apply for PR if I am away for 6 months of intern ship (180 days). What are the implications and procedures if I stay out of UK during that period?
Thanks
Lakshana
