ILR for spouse - Bank Statement help

How much do I need to show in savings for ILR and does it matter if the money is in my sole name rather than in a joint account?

My wife can to the UK in Dec 2011, so she is under the old rules. My salary is approx. £2000 per month so we are covered from the financial requirements but the main saving account is in my name rather than a joint name? We have a joint current account, but the bulk of the money is in a savings account in my sole name. Savings are just under £10k?

Also, can we show savings in current account as well or by savings does it need to be a savings account?

It doesn't matter which bank account the savings are in, or in whose name they are held.
