Chil'd Passport if one parent has ILR

Post by Rose23 » Thu Jan 16, 2014 9:57 am

Hi

My child is 2 years old and was born in UK. She has a Indian Passport at present. Parents are seperated and now the father has ILR wef NOV 2013. Can I apply for a british passport for my child or what are the ways I could get my child the same status as Father.

What is the process? Father has court orders to help child and mother on immigration status.
My visa is under appeal at present and Father got court order after I applied for FLR.
The only way I can see his helping me and my child on immigration status is by applying for child's British Passport and the I can secure my status later.

Please help.
