PEO on 17 March(Sponsor License not renewed)

Hi

Just going through the information for ILR based on 5 Years spent on Tier 2 (g) and came to know a shocking surprise that employer who is giving letter for employement MUST have to have register to have applied for renewals of Sponsor license. My worry is that I remember my employer mentioning me few months back (when they might have received the email from HO for renewal of Sponsor license) that now they wont have to renew the license because I will be eligible for ILR in coming March 2014 and they dont want to sponsor any one else from now on because of the complications in every day new rules coming.

So I am sure they didnt renew the sponsor license or havnt applied for renewal Yet. (as they were under the impression that as i am going to apply for ILR in MARCh so they dont have to do it).

They will be willing to apply and renew though BUT i have feeling it might have expired in January 2014. If that is the case can they still apply for renewal ro will it have to be New application)

I am stuck REALLY.....................................

PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ help, I am panicing as I have PEO appointment on 17-03-14.

What do i do?

Only thing I know they can still login into their sponsor management system using the same information.

Where did you get this information from ? Can you provide official document link ?

it was on Immigration Rules 6a

but

Good thing is that I came to know sponsor did renew their license so I am okay for that point. But just to clarify it is requirement that when you apply for ILR on the basis of 5 years spent on Tier 2 (g) then at the time of applying you employer who gave you Cos either should have sponsor license or have applied for renewal.
