Ilr

Post by okello » Mon May 05, 2014 3:30 am

I got my ilr last year may and would like to apply for a UK pasport, which form should I use?

Also my wife has been my dependant back to the days when I was a student. Their stay was renewed for 3 years till 2015 and she has already spent 10 yrs and my daughter 8 yrs. I am considering cost and an easier option to take. Can I apply via 10 yr rule or as my dependant? And which forms should I use for this case? She is due to sit for life in the UK test. Please advice.

You need to be British to apply for a British Passport. That means means you need to naturalise which, you can't do until you've had ILR for 12 months.

Your spouse should apply for SET(LR). Where was the child born?
