IELTS Confused (after FAQ)

Post by aaatech » Sun May 29, 2016 9:42 am

My wife hold IELTS Academic with 7.5 band and CEFR Level C1 valid till 13/06/2017.
It was cleared from centre in Leeds, UK. It also mention Test Report Form Number - 18digit
she is applying for ILR(as T1 G dependent).

Regarding English language requirement. Does she need to repeat IELTS?
Please advise, thanks in advance.

Check this link.

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... ebsite.pdf

Looks like she will qualify and she doesn't need to take the exam again as long as she applies for her ILR before the expiry date.

The above link will give you all the approved test centres.

Leeds is listed 5th and is approved.

Thanks,

I checked and test centre "Centre of English Studies (Harrogate & Leeds)" is not on approved list.
Looks like even she overqualified for this test still she will have to take IELTS Life Skills – B1.

what a waste of £150.00...
