ILR form - SET O - Tier 2 (5 year route)

Post by memoli » Mon Jun 26, 2017 12:17 pm

Hey guys
Just wanted to ask a few quick questions about the SET O form that I couldn't find clear answers to anywhere in the locked topics. - would really appreciate your views on these
Link - https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... -04-17.pdf

1- Question 6.2 on page 21

"If you need more space, continue on a separate sheet and enclose it with your application. "
-How do we exactly refer to this separate sheet on the form it self? Do we just write 'see separate sheet behind this page' in the first box?

2- page 18 - I have an annual salary of 40k - Do I still need to write something in the "Number of hours this salary is based on" box or do I just leave that empty?

3- page 15 - I meet the language requirement as I have a masters degree from a UK university- It looks like I need to tick only one box as it says "and one of".
Do I tick B alone or both A+B ? - see below
A) "An academic qualification deemed by UK NARIC to meet the recognised standard of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or PhD in the United Kingdom"
B) "the qualification was taught or researched in the UK or a majority English speaking country (other than Canada)"

Thank you again for your answers

1. I will have this in a separate document stamped and signed by my HR

2. The field is mandatory... Check this thread - indefinite-leave-to-remain/how-many-hou ... 79779.html

3. A & B both... as they are part of -- An academic qualification deemed by UK NARIC to meet the
recognised standard of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or PhD in the United Kingdom and

Hope this is useful

Thanks for your response
1. I have multiple Tier 2 employers and I have letters from each one separately. I will put together a cover letter for myself - but how do I refer to this letter on the form? What did you actually write on the form itself to make sure the case worker looks at the letter from your employer? and where did you write this exactly?

2. There is an argument that I should put hours 'not including' my 25 days paid leave (so 47 weeks x 37 hours per week = 1739 hours) - but some people put 52x37=1924 hours - Which is correct? How can I be sure?

3. I agree - I am more leaning towards ticking both A and B in this case even though the form says "and one of"
