When I can apply for ILR

Post by debkrishna » Tue Feb 06, 2018 9:41 pm

Hi

I am on tier 2 general visa at present.

1st tier 2 Visa was granted on 03/04/2013 from India. However I came to UK on 17/04/2013 and joined my company on 28/04/2017.

My question is which date I can apply for my ILR earliest?

Thanks in advance.

Within 28 days before visa start date assuming you meet all the requirements.

Tier 2 to ILR

Post by debkrishna » Thu Feb 08, 2018 9:52 pm

Hi I'll be applying for ILR in April and would appreciate your kind help to suggest if I need to provide any further document please.

I am on Tier 2 General Visa.

My status- Got Tier 2 visa on 3/4/2013, entered UK on 17/4/2013. Applied for extension under Tier 2 general cat twice and my visa is valid till April 2019. I am planning to apply on 03/04/2018.

I was unemployed for 49 days (from 28/10/2013 till 16/12/2013) due to visa refusal from India. With the help UKBA, came back to UK and reapplied from UK which was accepted.

Document;
1. Set O form
2. 3 months pay-slip
3. 3 months bank statement
4. P60 for last 4 years
5. Passport + BRP
6. Leave from the company (which mentions the date of leave and says it was annual leave. However the word 'paid' is not written)
7. UK NARIK certificate mentioning my degree as C1 + Original degree certificate + certificate from university mentioning that the degree was taught in English.
8. Life in UK Test certificate.
9. 2 Photograph.

Questions
1. Is there anything else I need to provide?
2. Is the application date fulfils the criteria of 5 years continuous residency?
3. Is the leave letter all right?
4. 49 days of not employed. Is that going to have any effect?

Thanks in advance.
