When I am eligible to apply for ILR

Post by aben » Sat May 26, 2018 5:36 pm

Hi All,

When can I apply for ILR

1. Main applicant 2 years Visa given, valid from 10/03/2014
2. Main applicant arrived UK 22/04/2014 (within 90 days)
3. Visa extended for 3 years, valid till 16/03/2019

When I add 4 years, 11 months and 2 days

10/03/2014
+
4 years 11 months 2 days

Its 12/02/2019

Am I eligible to apply to the ILR between 12/02/2019 and 16/03/2019 ?

thanks in advance.

You can apply 28 days before you clock 5 years, That will be 10th Feb 2019.

see the calculation here

You will not be able to book for a PSC appointment of more than 45 days, my understanding is, you should make the appointment within 28 days of your qualifying period and start booking when it is 45 days or less, as 45 days is the maximum time you may be able to book from.

Do keep in mind to book within your qualifying period though.

This all depends how busy they are, and if blocks are available or. Ot, generally new blocks get released at midnight each night, if it is fully booked, then try another PS centre, for instance, Croydon is way more busier than Glasgow would be this getting one in Croydon is harder where as Glasgow may have more readily available.
These are my 'views' and 'opinions'.
If in doubt always seek professional advice, or at least do a search for the relevant information. :P

If i make any mistakes, You are more than welcome to correct me.
