Premium Service help!

Post by joannakabana » Tue Oct 09, 2018 6:14 pm

Hi all,

I’m really panicking at the moment. My husband and I have just logged on to book a premium service appointment for 23/11 and it’s telling us there are no apppointments in the next 45 days! Panicking slightly as this is obviously very important for us! Is this normal?! Please help!

Appointment slots are often released onto the system around mid-night. You may have to be flexible over which PSC you attend as some get booked more quickly than others.

If you aren't able to book an appointment before your visa expires, you will have to apply by post.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry to be an idiot but the gov website doesn't make it obvious. What's the best way to apply by post? I'm trying to think clearly but am so so stressed.

You complete the form and post it with your supporting documents to the address on the form.

You can also use the Settlement Checking Service at your Council for Set(M) applications. They copy your documents and return originals to you and send the application for you.

Please DO NOT send me a PM for immigration advice. I reserve the right to ignore the PM and not respond.

Thank you very much.

We still very much want to use the PSC. Does anyone have any tips on how to get an appointment? We’d like to go to Cardiff but are willing to travel pretty much anywhere.

keep checking. if you can stay up late, you might be lucky to get what you want just after 12 mid night

I suggest keep an eye on Glasgow, Belfast centres, they usually have good availability.
