FLR DL Settlement Visa/waiting for 7 months

Dear Sirs,
I have applied for me and my family Settlement visa after completion of 3+3 years discreationary leave.I applied on 12th of April 2018 and today is more than 7th months but I am still waiting.
I called home office after 6th month period and they sent me email that your case is still not completed yet.
I contacted my local MP and MP sent a letter to home office to get update on my case.
I want to ask you that how long it will take more in your experience?

Some applications are complex. DLR applications may have very complex nature given that the circumstances under which someone was granted leave were probably not very straightforward. Better wait to hear back
