English language requirement for dependent

Hi everyone,
I am preparing for ILR application for myself and my wife as dependant.
I have UK masters degree but my wife does not have any UK degree. She has only Bachelors degree from India which I believe still taught in English but I want to know if that is considered for English language requirement for ILR or does she have to give IELTS test?

She needs either the B1 English test from an HO approved test provider OR have her foreign degree assessed by UK NARIC for english and UK degree compatibility. Both cost the same, £150 and test is quicker.

Just the degree on its own is not sufficient.
