Can i travel for work outside UK after my Set O settlement appointment?

Hi Guys
I'm having my settlement application (Set O) priority appointment on 22Dec (Saturday) at Manchester, can i travel to Germany on 24Dec(day trip) for business with my existing BRP which is valid until Jan'20 while my application is being processed & decision is made by home office? Legally will be old BRP will still be vaild?

Yes. If your current visa is valid and you can return under the same visa category, your existing application should be unaffected
