17 Years Dependant-ILR

Post by jafersadeq » Tue Jan 15, 2019 5:32 pm

Dear Gurus,
Does the "17 years old dependant" have to be in the UK at least 180 days (absence no more than 180 days) or not?
Can the "17 years old dependant" leave his/her study in the UK and come to the UK 4 times a year and stays 20 days each time./ no study abroad, no marriage, no an independent life. S/he comes and leave with mother or dad.

Please advise
Thanks

How can't they be living an independent life if they only visit their parents 4 times a year for periods of only 20 days :?:

You will have to give more information if you expect anyone to advise you. What is the status of the parents in the UK? 'Leave' with mother or dad, or 'live' with mother or dad :?:

Or is this a hypothetical question...you don't appear to know whether they are male or female?

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Likely a PBS dependent visa. The OP asks multiple questions with different scenarios for themselves and others as far as I recall.

Thanks for your comments
To clarify more, a girl, 17 years old, she has T1-E dependant visa, she is now in school in year 11, she does not want to complete her study, she travels to her home country with her dad and stays 30 days, then she comes back with her dad to the UK and stays 20 days, after that she travels with her mum to her home country and stays 30 days, then she comes back to the UK with her mum and stays 20 days.....etc, all period is for one year only.
She does not stay alone, either with her dad or with her mum, in the UK or out the UK.
She can not stay a whole year in her home country because of her leave as a dependant.
That happens because she has a sister 11 years old studies in an English school in her home country and does not have a dependant visa, her sister has to see dad or mum, so they travel for her only.
Please advise
