ILR qualifying period confusion

Post by soulseek » Fri Apr 05, 2019 11:40 am

All,

one clarification needed , my wife qualifies to apply for her ILR on 6/4/2019, some 40 odd days before the 5th anniversary of her coming to the UK for the first time. I dont have a problem with that, but there is a section in the application form that asks for 'Time lived in the UK' which is what im not sure about. If i say 4 years and 10 months is that a problem? or should i say 5 years as she is now eligible to apply for an ILR? any clarity would be very helpful :)

No. You ll say exactly what it is.. if it’s 4 years n 95 months then that’s what you say.
This not a very important question anyways.
The only important thing is that you have to be certain she qualifies..
