ILR application for child over 18

Post by Tier121 » Sun Jul 21, 2019 6:09 pm

Dear Gurus,
I came to the UK on September 2010 with two dependants (my wife and my daughter) and have been living here continuously. Our Tier 4 visas were issued from 10/09/2010 until 31/01/2015.

Then I applied from inside of the UK and got my Tier 2 general visa from 02/08/2014.
After that, my wife applied from inside of the UK and got her Tier 2 dependant visa from 18/08/2014.
Later, I applied for my daughter from inside of the UK by post and got her Tier 2 dependant visa from 29/10/2014.

We have also extended our visas together from 15/04/2019 until 15/04/2020.

My daughter is 19 years old now and still lives with me and my wife (her stepmother).

I am completing our Set O forms now (5 years route). I would like to submit our applications all together as earliest as possible.

Here are my questions:

1. Can we apply all together for ILR on 23/07/2019 (when I and my wife both will be qualified)? Or my daughter still needs to wait to complete her 5 years on Tier 2 visa?

2. As the answer to the Set O form question: "When did you first enter to the UK? " Can I put the issue date of my daughter's Tier 4 dependant visas i.e. September 2010?

3. Can I complete my daughter's application as a Child dependant and add it to our Set O forms? OR, I have to use a separate SET O form for her.

4. If I must make it separately, how can we book an appointment all three of us together in Croydon then?

5. For Co-habitation period with my wife, as we granted our last leave on 15/04/2019, can we only provide one joint bank statement from April to July 2019? Or we have to provide documents up to two years?

You can all apply for ILR at the same time. You and your wife in one SET(O) application BUT your daughter must file a separate SET(O) application and she has to prove her knowledge of English, pass the LIUK test and show she is not living an independent life
2. As the answer to the Set O form question: "When did you first enter to the UK? " Can I put the issue date of my daughter's Tier 4 dependant visas i.e. September 2010?
Put the date you entered the UK
3. Can I complete my daughter's application as a Child dependant and add it to our Set O forms? OR, I have to use a separate SET O form for her.
See above
4. If I must make it separately, how can we book an appointment all three of us together in Croydon then?
It will be two separate appointments
5. For Co-habitation period with my wife, as we granted our last leave on 15/04/2019, can we only provide one joint bank statement from April to July 2019? Or we have to provide documents up to two years?
3 different documents, covering two years

Hi Zimba,
Thanks for the quick reply.
If we need to make two separate appointments, we may not be able to take appointments in the same day or even in the same place.
How we can inform them we are applying in the same time?

Dear ZImba please tell me WHICH DATE?
Date she entered to the UK with Tier 4 dependant visa on September 2010 or date she got her Tier 2 dependant visa (29/10/2014)?

They are two separate appointments. You should be able to get appointment at the same time on the system
