Using a valid BRP card number, the work status can be checked at https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work

But if the BRP has expired recently and the ILR application result has still not arrived, can this expired BRP number show the online work status once the case worker has taken a decision?

Hello

Expired BRP won't show the work status. If you enter your date of birth and a BRP number which is now expired, a message will popup to say that the it has expired etc.

By the way is your BRP still VALID and if it is what message do you get?

Awaiting the results of ILR.

The idea is to know the status before any letter from the caseworker reaches the candidate.
