180 DAYS calculation confused. Need Advice please

Post by msh12340 » Sat Aug 03, 2019 10:19 pm

Hello Everyone,

I am really confused about my absences as I have a business in the UK and overseas.

Route 200k.
BRP Issued date 18-06-2017
Valid date 18-10-2020

How I should calculate my absences? which rules will apply to me ?

in 2017 63 days out of the UK.
in 2018 152 days out of the UK.
in 2019 7 days out of the UK.

However, if I calculate from 18-06-2017 to 18-06-2018 I was out of the UK for 201 days?

Thank you

Are you applying for ILR under accelerated route?
Absences are counted on rolling basis on visas issued after 01/18.. which is not in ur case.
Also the calculation is very simple. It’s applied from the date of application going back 12 months.

It is max 180 days per residence year. You also cannot have more than 6 months of continuous absence anywhere in your 5 years
