Going out of uk or giving passport to another embassy

Hi,

I will be grateful if somone can guide me.

Once standard ilr application is posted, there is almost 26 week wait time. Is it allowed for ilr applicants to go out of UK on short visits while they are waiting. Also is it ok to give passport to get schengen visa while ilr is being considered.

You cannot travel out of the uk. If you do, any pending application with HO will be considered withdrawn and you lose the fee.

The same applies to your questions posted about a Schengen visa for your 9 year old. They cannot travel.
