Reduced working hours

Post by marshyt » Tue Nov 30, 2010 9:30 am

I reduced my working hours from 37.5hrs per week to 35hrs due to childcare needs and am now due for ILR, is this likely to affect my application? Many thanks in advance!

What visa are you currently on? If it's one that allows you to work freely (ie. not a student visa which is subject to a 20-hour per week restriction), then there won't be any problem. You just have to show that you are able to support yourself and your child/ren without recourse to public funds. :D

I am currently on a work permit and the letter I got from employer mentions 35hrs part time!
