Application to expedite and ILR application

Hi

Has anyone had any success in applying to expedite an ILR application. I travel a fair amount for work, about 1-2 trips around Europe per month (I submitted a record of 34 international trips in my application). I applied for ILR in Jan and my manager is getting really difficult with me for not performing adequately because of my inability to travel and wants me to apply to expedite my application.

Does anyone of anyone who has had success with this in the past? or how to go about it?

home office dont generally expedite ILR applcations purely based on someone claiming they need to travel.

ask your employer to write a letter and that may help (but dont hold your breath)

why didnt you go for in person appointment, if it was very important.

here's what I would do:

1. call/write a letter to UKBA and basically beg.
if that doesn't work

2. ask to withdraw application (you will lose fees though)
3. make a premium application.

even with ILR , you will still need visas to travel to Europe

even with ILR , you will still need visas to travel to Europe

depends on nationality. some citizens eg. US, canada, australia, japan etc. do not require a preissued visa to travel to europe.

as the OP has travelled to europe extensively during residence in UK, I think it is clear that the OP either has a passport that does not need a visa or has a schengen visa.

I am South African, so well used to the Schengen process. the issue really is getting my passport back ASAP without having to withdraw and go through the premium option. 3 more months of "Telephone Travel" is not going to help my work situation.
