question about ilr and owing child support

hiya i have a question ive been worring about, my 2years is about up and im getting ready to file for my ilr, im from america been married to my husband whos a british citizen for almost 4 years, and we have a son together who is 2 and a half who has dual citizenship, but my question is in america i owe child support, i havent been able to pay it as not having enough money and the father there understands, and knows once my immigration is done he will then be getting paid again but my question is will this effect the status of my ilr as i owe money in a different country, i dont really see why it would but i just worry to much any help would be greatly appreciated, much thanks jennie
