ILR FOR DEPENDENT IN WP CATAGORY

Hi
my husband has only been here 1 yr and 8 month by this august i have to apply for my ILR this august.can i include him in my application or is there a different form to be filled .also does he need to do any other english test to apply for that.

If you get ILR, he can get his leave extended but you cannot include him in your application now. He will need LIUK test only and after he completes two years stay he can apply for ILR.

That's partly incorrect. There is no mininum period required for work permit holder's dependants.

Husband may be included (196E) with your ILR application (134). KOL required.

My wife was in same situation, didn't complete 2 years, but she got ILR with me under WP.

There is no mininum period required for work permit holder's dependants.

Hi

I have checked with home office and they say the rules are now he has to apply for FLR M and then after two years apply for SET M

When did you apply for urs?

They may have been referring to the incorrect rules with respect to work permit holders and their dependants.
