ILR application - between jobs

I am currently on Tier 1 (General).

My situation is:

My last day with my current employer is on 23rd Dec, 2011.

My new employer has requested me to join on the 3rd of Jan, 2012.

I qualify for ILR anytime after 23rd Dec, 2011.

I have an appointment booked on the 30th Dec, 2011.

Question:

a) In the SET (O) form, Section 5: "Your Home and Finances". What do I enter in question 5.3 ("Are you working in the UK?").

b) If the answer is "NO", how will it affect my application ?

Your response / experience highly appreciated.

P.S: Apologies if a similar question has been answered elsewhere. Kindly point me to it.

There is no requirement to be employed when applying for ILR. There is a requirement have scored sufficient points.
