Thank you! The link really helpsCULLINAN wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 7:43 pm@user5
Glad you made it!
Sometimes all finger prints do not match due to dry skin, burns, cuts etc. As long as 8/10 matches your fine. Nothing to worry.

Fair enough, thanks for letting me know I was firstly interested in parking there then realised there is one next to the centre.Luluokis29 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 6:11 pmI used it on the 15/09/20 for my in person bio. Yes, there were road works at the roundabout but it's still open for business. U would find the shutter down, but it automatically opens when u drive close to itAmeline wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 5:26 pmWhen did you use it? this looked to me as shut on 12/09/2020. There were works on the road and its gates were completely shut unless I was not looking at its main entrance.Luluokis29 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 5:01 pmThere is also Ruskin square car park which I used.
1-2 hrs is £4.50
Goodluck on your appointment
I am confused with the messages put up by UKVCAS see below;
If UKVCAS received your application on or after 18 September 2020, please continue to check this page for updates. We will refresh this page over the next few days to let you know when you can book a UKVCAS appointment or use the IDV app so watch this space!
You can if you wish. Dual submission will not harm and have had worked for many. Look for a free appointment to save some money too.
No issue. Just carry originals. No soft copies.ranveer08 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 9:27 pmHi,
I got question regarding submitting in-person biometric. As I understand for in-person all the original documents needs to be carried to appointment. Issue I got is my employer have give me soft copy of employment letter ( mentioning all the necessary required details). Will it be ok if physical copy asked during the appointment and I tell all I got is soft copy.
Yes but I think what OP meant (same as my case) is that only original documents we have is passport, BRP & consent form. Rest all are soft copies - employer letter, absence letter, payslips, Bank statements. So shall we take printout of those aoft copies for appointment?CULLINAN wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 9:28 pmNo issue. Just carry originals. No soft copies.ranveer08 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 9:27 pmHi,

No. Just keep soft copies in a USB/email.Cristina88 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 9:31 pmYes but I think what OP meant (same as my case) is that only original documents we have is passport, BRP & consent form. No need to print soft copies. With the new UKVCAS system which was introduced in Nov 2018, all evidence except passport can be originals or copies. No issues.
Thanks for details. For LIUK all I got is online reference number I believe that is the only thing they share with the people who had taken exam recently ( correct me if i am wrong here)CULLINAN wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 9:39 pmJust carry originals like:
Passport
BRP
LIUK
English Test/Degree
and any other originals etc.
No soft copies needed.
The staff does not check anything except passport. Its only recommended to carry originals in case a poor scan needs to be redone. No need to print soft copies. Keep soft copies handy in email/USB.

However this is missing from the 22.09 update. Does this mean above was just another misleading U-turn style message from incompetent UKVCAS ?UKVI will send updates to customers with an application in progress over the next 2 weeks to let you know what’s happening with your application. Please be reassured that your immigration status is not affected while your application is in progress.
Actual text should have been::If you are selected to use the IDV app, please do so. Booking an appointment does not mean that your application will be processed more quickly.
If you are selected to use the IDV app, please don't look for free appointment slots. Booking an appointment does lead to your application being processed more quickly, however UKVCAS wants you to wait and eventually book super-high premium appointment to get a quicker decision
You should have already booked an in-person appointment by now... Why are you delaying?
Looks like they are aware that majority applicants are going for appointments or dual submissions as applicants have lost confidence in IDV app due to majority decisions lagged via this route. If you are selected to use the IDV app, please do so. Booking an appointment does not mean that your application will be processed more quickly.
Obviously they are aware.!! This is a subtle way of telling that you can book appointment after being invited to use IDV App - commercial interest.CULLINAN wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 10:01 pmLooks like they are aware that majority applicants are going for appointments or dual submissions as applicants have lost confidence in IDV app due to majority decisions lagged via this route. If you are selected to use the IDV app, please do so. UKVCAS cannot provide any status updates about your application once it has been submitted to UKVI.
But UKVCAS knows that UKVI aim to deal with ALL applications in date order. This means that your case will be dealt with by UKVI based on the date of your registration with UKVI/UKVCAS.
