Maintenance for Tier1 ILR

Hi All,

My gratitude all helpers on this forum!

I am due to apply for ILR for me and my wife soon. All I knew was there is no hard and fast rule for maintaining a particular level funds for ILR application.

Recently one of my friends landed bombshell saying that they still take the extension maintenance as the bench mark (i.e. £800 & £563) and they could reject the application. Unfortunately I haven't maintained funds as in Tier1 extension. Some days it has even gone low as £750.

Just worried weather this would affect my application in anyway. I only got around 6 weeks left. Please advise.

Many Thanks in advance!

There you go! Many Thanks!

BTW does this means that they cannot refuse someone on the grounds of lower funds availability or still there are some discretion

No they can’t refuse on low funds grounds. I have seen cases where people had as low as 100 quid in their accounts and they still got ILR.
