wait is over

Hi All
The wait is over for me and my family. We received our passports back today, details below:
Form: Set (O) (very straight forward application)
Application submitted: 14 October 2011
Ackolwedgement letter: 18 October 2011
ILR stamped: 23 March 2012
Passport received: 21 April 2012
Total wait time: 6 months 8 days
Posting office: Liverpool
Shameless trend of one month lag continues. I called UKBA yesterday and was told that my passport has been posted through 2nd class on 18 April 2012 (exact 6 months from its acknowledgement date) and was provided with royal mail tracker number. This clearly provides tangible evidence of its in-competencies to put the packages in the post from the date of the decision.
The above timings now really rubbishes all the things I did from end of March till date to expedite the process.
One more trend I observed on this forum- most posts are received in the later part of the week as against earlier part!! Perhaps shows when UKBA is more active to line its posts.
