Went to Croydon at 11am. Paid fee at 11.15. Took bio metrics at 11.30. Waited Until 6pm for our ticket to be called. Was told that the computer system is Down so can't process anything today. Took all the original documents and was told to either comeback Tuesday to collect them or they will post them. Asked when would we receive the visa, said 10/15 days. Which I did not believe. Think he was just saying that so that we could leave without causing a scene. Am so angry. A complete wasted day. Did not even bother asking what documents we brought, our pay slips or bank statements. Two years worth of work for nothing. If we do get a visa in 6 months time, then what is the point of the premium service?

Anyway, going to bed now. Wife is annoyed, I am annoyed, think the whole neighbourhood is annoyed.

Same stuff happened to me as well in Croydon on 4th May. Waited from 11 to 5pm and they just collected the documents! They did not even bother to give me the case reference no!! Such a shabby state of affairs

I will still count both of you as lucky.
I was in Croydon on 3rd and they had complete system breakdown after around 9 AM and they sent back almost 200 people back.
Fees paid were refunded and so on.
And now been asked to find another appointment, at least in your case they have accpeted the application.
