hello

am planning to apply for ILR based on Tier1/2 5yrs route. But for last 2 years I was staying in hotels & had my correspondence address @ my office unit in London for my construction job.
the nature of my job required me work in remote sites & I was always on move. So i cancelled rented flat after 4 months on the job cuz i was never home. As i didnt have any permanent address no council tax was ever issued to me.

will no council tax for 2yrs have any effect ?

any other concerns/essentials/criteria/requirements regarding council tax to ILR ?

Paying council tax during your residency period is not a requirement for ILR.

I would however advise that you to take a look at the UKBA settlement requirements for the route you are applying under to make sure you have satisfied all other requirements.

If you are currently on a Tier 2 General the information you require will be available under...
