Dear friends,

I'm on Tier 1 (Gen) and going to attend ILR on 5 yrs basis next month.

I first came to UK in 2002 on work permit and went back in 2005 as my project was finished and company sent me back to offshore.

I again came back on work permit in 2007, and then switched to Tier 1 and next month attending for ILR.

When i went back in 2005, i hadn't paid my creidt card bill and overdraft. Just wondering would it affect ILR in any way? I've had Tier 1 extension in between and had no problem.

if you haven't paid the bills, there is likely to be case(s) against you. you need to do a crb check. it will reveal everything
