Applied for ILR in person today and decision pending

Hi all,

Just need to seek peoples opinion. I applied for my ILR today via PEO and was told they were still waiting for confirmation and will give me a call once they have a decision.

So my ILR was based on a WP for 5 years have been working with same company this 5years and only been out of uk for 2 weeks for Work purposes.

Also all my documentation were intact and fine as confirmed by the case worker. But on carrying out a biometric registration and check, he came back to say my fingerprint flagged up on their system and asked if my fingerprint details have been ever been taken by the police, then at that point explained to him that I was arrested one time in london for a case and released with the decision 'No further action required' and this was 7years ago. He then said thats fine and I should come back in 2 hours while he get the confirmation of the same status from the police or their system.

But I came back 2 hrs later only to be told he still hasn't gotten any confirmation and apologised and advised that rather than waiting I should head back home and once he gets those confirmation he will contact me same day or the next day. He then handed me all my documents including passport and told me to wait for his call and decision.

Please can someone help in explaining what it means or if they have experienced such and normally how long do they take to get back. Am just restless at the moment.

Thanks ALL

Hi

Thanks a lot for sharing your PEO experience. Which PEO have you attended ?? Was it Croydon ?? Definitely it must be Croydon to the best of my guess.

Well to be honest with you it sounds a bit surprising to me one of my friend got arrested 3 times last year and he got his ILR approved at Croydon PEO on the 26th March 2012.

Well it has stopped my breaths a bit more as I got arrested last November but released with out charged. Lets see how it goes for me.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience please kindly keep us updated on the forum regarding your ILR status.

Good luck for your ILR.

Why don’t you tell us the name of that PEO rather than we guessing it.

This is going to be a guessing game. I suspect it is not Croydon, since she/he got a call from PEO notifying him/her of ILR approval.

don't be bullied into silence. if you have an issue raise it. if its croydon or whichever say it.

i did read a thread about slow responses and people complaining to some tele programme.

Its time to speak up alexaminu2012!! Solihull is the place I believe. They are the people who care! If it were Cryodon, alexaminu2012 would never have been called!

Come on Alex, you ask others advise and they gave it freely, why can't you answer a simple question? I thought we were a group.
