Hello,
I entered the UK 1st Feb 2008 with HSMP Visa with entry date of 08/01/2008 to expire 08/01/2010.
I renewed my visa december 2009, and i got my entension under the Tier 1 category. The Visa is valid from 13/01/2010 to 13/01/2013.
Seeing that I have qualified for the 5years period for an ILR, can someone please advice, Is there anything i should be worried about or i can go ahead to apply for my ILR come december 2012. Every other requirements are met.
Thanks.

You have not yet qualified for ILR. You can only apply for ILR 28 days before the expiry of your current leave if you have met all the ILR qualifying conditions. Read the UKBA guidance for more information. check UKBA website[/quote]

Say sometimes like Dec 20th 2012

Thank you guys for the resposne
The topic/query is because i entered 1Feb and calulating 5years, that would have not completed 5years.
But i think reading from
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary
I have a clearer understanding from the statement:
Applications that fall short of the five year continuous period
In some cases, applicants may have been granted five years continuous leave, but due to delayed travel will not have spent five years continuously in the UK before their current leave expires. Caseworkers may count the period between entry clearance being granted and the date the applicant entered the UK towards the five years, provided this period was not longer than three months
What do you think?
