Hello,

I will apply for 10 yr ILR on January 2010. Today I have received my SAR. In onc occasion my student visa was valid until 30th September 2005. Then I applied for an extension of student visa which homeoffice received on 3rd October 2005. So there is a gap of 2 days. I applied through my university which home office rejected casue i sent outdated application form. Then i again applied for visa which home office received on 27th October 2005.
I am very worried now as there is almost a 1 month Gap ,although this is due to mistake by the univerity of sending an outdated application form on 3rd October.

Caould you please tell me if this will be a gap or I will be still elligible for 10 yr ILR.

If the initial application was recieved on 3rd October 2005, a Monday, then it's likely that it was posted a few days before. If it was posted prior to your leave expiring, then you should be ok.

If you had sucessfully responded within 28 days following their "rejection" of the initial application, then it should not have been declared as "invalid".
